Some culture, housework and fiddling
A morning of whizzing round doing a few chores and going crazy with the duster, taking care to do those oft-forgotten bits - picture frames, backs of chairs, toaster. I even moved a few things too. I was also waiting for the postman, who didn't arrive, so I'll expect him tomorrow.
I had booked a Play, Pie and a Pint again this week, and suggested to my pal Susan that she come too. I fear that they have the same selection of pies each week ie no normal ones like steak and ale... So I had another macaroni pie, which tastes best if you don't actually look at it. It was either that or a haggis pie... Well, I've seen haggis pizzas, so haggis pies and macaroni and cheese pies are just more abominations culinary delights that Scotland can proudly give to the world.
I had another pint, too. Didn't drink a whole pint, though, because I managed to spill half of it as I went down the stairs to the theatre and suddenly wanted to check that I hadn't dropped my gloves and forgot I had it. This drinking pints at lunchtime could be habit forming. Luckily it was the last of the series of lunchtime sessions. The play was very good. I really admire folk who can stand up and act like that. Or just who can stand up and act.
I have been fiddling about on the computer too, watching YouTube videos on how to use RAW files. I see a lot of blippers use RAW and so I've been shooting a few to fiddle about with at my leisure. Very time consuming, of course, and you might guess I've been doing more fiddling than housework...
I stopped in my tracks this morning (and I was going SO well) when I spied the tulips again. They have opened up and every day they look more gorgeous. They begged me to blip them.
And - yes - I could not resist - I got my water spray out.
Now, back to my housework fiddling.
