Dahlia Day

Cloudy with periods of rain, some heavy. Awaiting the wrath of tropical storm Fred as we are in his direct path. I took these dahlia shots when it was just drizzling. Check out the amount of pollen on that small bee. Not much sleep last night. One of our granddaughters was diagnosed with COVID yesterday and she is in a risk category. The hospital wanted to administer an experimental infusion so my daughter awakened me at 1:00 am for advice. Recommended asking her pediatrician who she completely trusts. He said she should get it if her symptoms (which are more than the grandson had) get any worse. My daughter is closely monitoring her oxygen level, temperature and heart rate. So far they are at safe levels. Prayers appreciated. I was not surprised to see my extremely high BP reading after speaking with her. Set up till I calmed down enough to get to sleep. We worked on a gift for my grands today. Will blip the finished products. The guys rode when it wasn’t raining. We visited our friend who is having cataract surgery tomorrow. When we got back, we made her and her family dinner for tomorrow. My sister and BIL are delivering it now. There were tons of leftovers for us so we had no other cooking duties. I think it will be an early to bed night. Thanks for stopping by, leaving stars and kind comments. Stay safe friends. This new strain of COVID is sooo contagious. “God did not promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sunshine without rain.
