Relief

For a few years now, I have been in the Inactive Reserves. During this time, I have been waiting for a letter from the Army saying that I would have to go back into active service and back into combat which is not something I would look fowrard to. It was kind of like a dark cloud over my head for a long time. A few days ago that time was up; the Army missed their opportunity to pull me back in and I couldn't be more relieved. I am glad that I had the opportunity to serve and it was something that I am proud of, but that chapter of my life is finally officially closed.
