Spear Head

I needed a visit to that famous Swedish home furnishing store for some more "clutter busting" storage. My nearest store is just outside Reading, so I took the opportunity to stop by the nearby Kennet & Avon Canal, on the River Kennet stretch, for my daily constitutional walk.

I wouldn't say that this stretch of canal is one of the more interesting, but is was very peaceful and I did achieve one of my objectives in capturing a shot of the seedhead of a spear thistle for today's Mono Monday challenge of "Low Key" set by Carolina.

Note: The other objective of more storage was also met ... and I even managed to escape the store without exceeding my budget :-))
