Today's the day ........................ for lines on the landscape

The day eventually turned out quite nicely - and we took an evening stroll in the sunshine.

I have to say though that there was already a hint of autumn in the air with the hedgerows full of berries, rosehips and other autumnal fruits.  The crop of hay which was newly cut, was probably the second lot taken from this field.

I don't think I'm quite ready for autumn yet ......................
