We have spent the day helping my brother prune his personal orchard of about 100 fruit trees. We did it last year as well as it is getting a bit much for him these days.  I think that in the next 12 months he may have to make a decision to sell up and move to something smaller. He lives about an hour from us on the coast but the climate is so different from where we live. Its much warmer and he can grow things we can't. The main blip is his orchids that grow wild with little care from him. The extras are a hedge of rosemary in flower and one of his avocado trees with a good crop that are about 2 months from ripening.
