Blue Crab

Such a disappointing day for my husband. This morning we retrieved the crab pots from the river. We only caught three crabs, and he lost one of his pots. Last night's storms were too much for one of his knots on the float. We spent over two hours looking for the pot at low tide without success. 
It was a wonderful learning experience, though. Each time we go out, we are getting better. I think the biggest problem is that we are crabbing in the wrong place. We need to crab closer to the bay.
This guy is a jumbo, but he ended up back in the river because one crab, even a jumbo, is not enough.
