TreeHugger

I am posting this quite late as It is nearly two weeks since I lost my very clever and beautiful sister Jan to ovarian cancer. She passed away on August 1. Many of you may have known her as Blipper, “TreeHugger.” She was an active Blipper for 531 days.

This picture was taken by our cousin, just after receiving one of her treatments at Peter Mac in Melbourne.  She managed to look this robust and healthy throughout her illness and continued to walk 5 km every morning along the river she loved, right up until she was hospitalized in mid July. 
  
After her diagnosis in 2018, she enthusiastically carried on savoring every moment of life with humor, a positive attitude and gratitude for every day. She was admired for her intellect and wit and greatly loved by us all. She had a long and fulfilling life and we are all so grateful to have been part of it.
