Yellowstone day 3

We were able to camp two nights.  Lots of fun - even tho it was COLD overnight.  

This lovely western tanager put on quite a show while we were walking to the Grand Prismatic spring.  Hopping around - he hunted a grasshopper and grabbed him out of the air mid-hop.  The boy was very excited to see it - I missed it as I was looking for the female behind the log.

Also saw old faithful - lots and lots of people - in some ways it wasn't as bad as i thought since there is lots of outdoors to share - but it does make it a little like a theme park rather than nature.  Camping helped keep it more real.
