Fish & Chips

Wednesday is Rachel's day off so she planned a nice morning out for us, somewhere we'd never been before. Matlock Bath.

Well, what an unusual village it was, all along the street there was one fish and chip shop after another, next door to each other. I would say a dozen or more in a very small place. There were a couple of amusement arcades and we weren't even on the coast! 

The one very good place we visited was the Aquarium. The Man and I used to keep tropical fish so we loved looking in the tanks. This chappie had the whole family laughing as he opened his wide mouth to try and eat Emily's newly-won dolphin key ring.

Soon it was time for lunch, but where? So many places to chose from but Rachel had a recommendation for Charles. The meal of fish and chips was extremely good and there were other options. We all had vey good sized helpings.

A little walk along the river, then it was time for us to think about heading home.
