Clouds Danced By

Big maroon cloud structures danced across an orange sky one after the other. Gaps between them allowed a fiery orange glow to seep through casting warm light in patches onto the lake. Sometimes it pays to watch the action unfold before your eyes and see how things develop.

I used a bit of dodging and burning on the clouds, a technique Sean Bagshaw calls cloud sculpting. It adds "depth and dimension". I seem to remember a previous blip where the clouds were flat shapes and I referred to them as cartoon clouds. Wish I could find it, but blip can't search on text!
