Through the arched gateway

It's an emergency blip today.  I went for a village walk but didn't see anything exciting so it's a house near me - I always love how the front door is framed by the gateway.

I had a surprise visit from F when I got back as he was out and about having hired some tools to continue his building project. 

He sorted a problem with my living room light while he was here.  I'd changed the light bulb but it wasn't working properly but he spotted that the problem was with the new bulb. Once it was replaced the problem was solved.  It was such a simple solution but I hadn't thought of it!
