Summer Still Life #2

Watermelon on the porch of my cousin's summer home on Black Cat Island.  Frankly, I was having such a nice time visiting with everyone that making a photograph was the farthest thing from my mind!  But this summer still life caught my eye so here it is.  They had friends from Nepal staying and we were treated to a lovely lunch of Nepalese dumplings, vegetarian for me, and a fresh corn salad.  Heavenly!  I did manage a quick view of the backyard by the lake. (extra)  Terribly hot and humid the next three days.  John and I will work in the garden early today.  I have a new addition to plant.
