Bee delight.

The bees love this Thistle's flowers, I'm not so keen on the spikes though.

I wasn't able to cut the grass here last week so this morning it was rather lush and quite wet. After blowing it over with my leaf blower I started cutting but the clutch lever spring broke. Fortunately the local garden machinery shop had a spare and the customer's wanted help to load and unload all the Ragwort they'd removed so, after a trip to the dump, we collected the spare and I fitted it.

The grass is now cut!

Towards the end of the day the rain poured down, it's not been a dry summer so far.
