Tram journey

After three months trial traffic, the actual tram traffic began today in Tampere. Today was last day of hubby's summer holiday. We ran some errands and then hopped onto a tram for the first time. It was good experience!

In the afternoon we had a walk in the woods and tried to find some chanterelles, but weren't lucky. It has been too dry. Let's hope they'll appear later.  

Emma received information that she got a student apartment from Hervanta.

Today we have also celebrated Tove Jansson’s Day and the day of Finnish art. Jansson, the author and artist behind Moomin books, is considered something of a national treasure in Finland.
