...of the light.

More painting today. Still on the first coat of white primer/undercoat in the hall - skirtings, door frames, a fiddly window frame - and still lots more of the same to do. Jacqui and Fletch called in unexpectedly this afternoon, and were a welcome excuse for a break!

After we'd eaten this evening, MrM and I were both feeling rather jaded, so we drove to the coast for a reviving stroll on Bamburgh beach. Lovely, though we got rather wet walking back to the van in light rain! Nothing better than a walk by the sea...
