Echinacea

Today started early with hedge trimming before the rain arrived. Doing this on a Sunday is also safer as there are less cars on the road (hedge is in the front garden). Cut and cleared away by 11.00 allowing a few hours for pottering before get together with friends. As they are ‘skiing’ friends OH was in charge of the arrangements and he said the instructions were to arrive at 1.00. We got there around 1.15 fashionably late and thought we might have the wrong date as the venue was quiet. We walked around looking for signs of life but no one had arrived although the car park was busy. OH had got the time wrong and we were an hour early!! I helped get the buffet ready and they are friends so it wasn’t a problem. However what was funny was the exchange of words OH and I had earlier about me being ‘ controlling’ ……. Moi? I leave him in charge and what happens……?
