Bush cricket..
..I don't see them very often..more so when autumn arrives. They hide in the mediterranean bush and rarely fly away when bothered, so there is little chance you can chase them. This particular example was just unlucky that his uncareful singing revealed the hiding place. When I approached him he looked at my lens for some time and then just disappeared quietly in the thicket. I must also admit that I thank evolution and nature for not making insects bigger, for the look of this species of bush crickets is quite scary with the grim face and particularly long hindlegs!
