Si and I are exhausted.

The stress of the week has caught up on us.

Very early start on Monday; and the farewell on Wednesday; waiting to hear that she has arrived on Wednesday night / Thursday morning has done for us.

I fell fast asleep in the chair tonight after dinner - although to be honest that could have happened at any time during the day. I kept having to stand up and walk outside to keep myself from falling asleep at my desk.

At nine I decided I needed out for some air… not that there was much in the way of movement in the atmosphere.

There was a funfair set up on the beach in darkness - safely concerns over the three rolls of thunder this afternoon closed it down.

The sea and the sky were the same colour and a wee sailing boat was having to power along due to lack of wind.

A weekend of doing nothing calls. Starting with an early night and a long lie .
