One day I’ll fly, fly, fly fly away

Tooli got to her hotel five hours after touchdown.

There were passport queues; there were Covid queues, quarantine queues and bus queues.

She was taken into her hotel via An underground car park.

We chatted back and forth and I got to sleep about 230…. 430 for her.

I was so tired this morning …. By the time I started work I was in need of a nap.

Tooli was soon back in touch. Breakfast had arrived and it was an enormous amount of food. Bread, nans, cheese, meat, olives, salad

Lunch was as varied - with a side of enough rice to feed a small Somalian village . Thank heavens she has a fridge in her room to keep some of it for snacks.

She sent me a wee video she made later in the afternoon. This is the last shot from it - how happy does she look?

For all the tears at the airport; for the apprehension; for the doubts… you look at this face and you knew being brave and taking that step was the absolutely right thing to do!
