Cosy café

We’ve visited this café (top) several times over the last couple of weeks to enjoy a coffee before starting our volunteer shift at the Olympics Fan Zone.  It’s always warm and inviting, the staff are friendly and almost have our coffees made before we sit down, without us having to tell them what we’d like.  Most impressive.
Today we decided to enjoy an early lunch and chose the Winter Fatoosh (bottom left), which was delicious.
The coloured lights snaking along the ceiling (bottom right) just outside the café continue through to the outside of the building, where they form a circle of light above another café.  
The Canadian naval ship is just visible through the windows at the front of the café. 
It was one of those days with howling wind and rain, with short breaks in between.  I guess it is winter.
