Pizza at The Chequers

The Chequers is the one remaining pub in the area. It is really good, if old fashioned, brews its own beer which has won regional CAMRA awards.

The owners are now building up a weekend pizza kitchen in their garden. I went with Elaine, Clare and Gill this evening. All really delicious, if a little burnt one corner. I shall have to book for Jack and me in the coming weeks.
