Down at the End of the Garden

I love the harvest time. Especially when the combine harvester is cutting the crop right at the edge of the field, just over the brook from our garden. This was taken about 7.30pm and they will continue cutting until they finish the field. Outside now we can hear the noise of the machine and see the headlights as it goes back and forth.

Lovely afternoon with ElaineB and Clare just sitting in the garden. ElaineB even brought us some of her husband's delicious salted caramel icing birthday cake.
