The Pines of Home

(Not quite Respighi)

Corsican Pines, Pinus nigra.

These fine trees are in a small nature reserve by the beach just to the west of the village. 
They give me much pleasure.
As I have mentioned before a family of Ravens live in the top of them.

Couple of extras from this morning’s walk.
One to show that at last we have had some rain. But not enough yet.
Second is a nice stand of Phlox.
