Cape Primrose

Not many plants still in flower now in our small alpine house.
But this tiny Streptocarpus is still managing a a couple.
Its common name reflects its South African origin.

Mrs. K’s mother used to grow superb specimens of these as house plents.
But then she lived in the Isle of Wight and things grow wonderfully well there.
