Out of this world

I had another physio appointment today. He’s so pleased with my progress and said again, if it was his leg, he’d be happy!

My range of movement in the ankle is really good but I’m about a centimetre off being able to fully flex, so I need to work on that for the next appointment. He’s said if I can do that, he will sign me off next time.
He also gave me some exercises to help rebuild muscle and increase strength in the hip and knee joints; I had a good go on the cross trainer too, which was great.

I also managed to wangle an appointment with the fracture clinic to review my healing progress. That appointment should have been tomorrow, but it seemed silly going all the way to Manchester two days in a row.
This now means I have a 3 day weekend, yippee.

I’m actually shocked at how well the pin sites have healed. Even the two gaping holes where the bolts were have shrunk to pin size. Mr A thinks my leg looks like I’ve caught it on something in the garden. I’m happy with that for sure!

Today’s blip I won’t bore you with another leg-fie is of my new earrings. I saw them and thought they were super cute ;-)
