Rats and vectors

A day of technical conversations of which the first with the rat catcher was the easiest. I chanced upon him in full wasp protection kit as he dealt with a nest in a neighbour’s garden. The conversation segued into rats and he was thrilled to meet someone who wanted to talk about the subject. I now know a lot about rat vectors. I not sure that I should let the neighbours know that he did find a specimen in the bait box.
He also said that bird feeders are not a problem, overfilling them is the issue. My next task is therefore to reinstate ours which will provide additional blipping opportunities.
