Pillbox
This is a trip down memory lane. This is a World War 2 Pillbox built to allow us to defend our green and pleasant land against Jerry.
It's also where I spent many happy hours pretending to fight the Germans when I was a slip of a lad. It's on a farm which used to be owned by my Aunt and Uncle near Wooler in Northumberland, and I have nothing but happy memories of this place.
The pillbox was full of sheep droppings, but I had great fun pretending i was manning a machine gun post and fighting to the last man standing. The sheep just thought I was bonkers.
Happy happy times.
