Going to see the chemist

Left Edinburgh on the 9.30am to London. I stopped off for lunch in Leeds to finally meet this man, A A Dhand, best selling novelist and local pharmacist.  We’ve been very lucky to develop his first screenplay which is an epic thriller set round… a pharmacy in Leeds.  Although we’ve been working together for 10 months or so (zoom) and have ‘known’ each other far longer this is the first time we’d actually met. Very odd experience and one we’ll all have to get used to.    

Got back on a train to London at around 4, nearly missed it by sitting on the wrong platform doing a phone call.  

Staying in Kettners, one of my favourite places now owned by Soho House.
