Dog’s best friend

Went over to the Isle of Wight to see P and V.  Woody adores V and has stayed long stretches with them.  He had to share him with Dennis,  the Hall’s dog, who had been staying but we got to see them too as they arrived to pick D up. It was forecast cool but as normal with the Island’s micro climate was very sunny and warm.  We had watermelon curry (actually delicious!) in the Garden and then walked Seagrove beach and Priory beach.  It was busy but not crazily so.  Queuing for the car ferry back cured us of any fantasy about moving to the Isle of Wight... which I don’t really have.
