Brief Respite

We stopped off at this beautifully preserved former railway station on our way from Granton-on-Spey to Ballindalloch. This stage was tortuous as it involved lots of steep uphill for over 16 miles. I now have 3 blisters!
To top it all, there was a mix up with our hotel so we’re now in Tomintoul instead. Thankfully we got a lift here and will get a lift back to the next stage of our walk. Hoping it will be an easier day tomorrow.
