Splash!

We joined the electric-only car share club MEC today and took one out. A bit of a learning curve to use the app and go through all the collect and return steps but it will be easier next time...see extra to see the Nissan Leaf itself with its potent acceleration (not on show!). €6 per hour, so not bad.

We saw the sea for the first time in 18 months from the top of Monjuic and walked around the entire Fort in sweltering heat, discovering an archery field which doubles as an open air cinema!

The blip is of the diving pools used for the 1992 Olympics, and which were memorable for their Barcelona city-scape backdrops. 

The diving pool itself is just out of shot to the left. The swimming pool, shown, must have served as a warm-up pool.
