Lola love...

I thought I hadn't taken any photos today then realised I had this one that was taken not long after midnight.   Lola doing the rounds getting bedtime head scratches before setting down to sleep at Adrian's feet :-)

We were all up and downstairs by 9.30am, drinking coffee and eating croissants and continuing our chat.  David popped out at 10am for his eye test and returned to take Lola out for her morning walk.  Adrian headed off as he was working this afternoon and another friend Keith arrived to play golf.  Kenny was supposed to be here too but he woke up with a head cold so stayed at home.

We headed to the golf club for lunch then as the guys headed off to play, Agnes and I headed off to Screw Fix in Perth so Agnes could collect a power tool she'd ordered for Adrian as an anniversary pressie for their wedding anniversary tomorrow.  They don't normally buy gifts for each other but Adrian miscounted and thought it was their 35th anniversary (it's their 34th :-) and bought Agnes a gift so she felt she had to reciprocate :-)))

The golfer's returned.  Alan and Keith headed off home.  Since Adrian would be home from work till 10pm, Agnes stayed for dinner.  

We were just finishing dinner when I got a text from our friend Drew to say he was up from down south on business (he works in the golf industry) and was staying at Gleneagles for a couple of days and could he pop on for coffee tomorrow morning.  A lovely surprise and of course the answer was yes.  

Agnes headed off just before 10pm with a doggy bag of veggie currie and bolognaise.  We managed to finish off the last of the key lime pie :-))
