Nuts in .......

May .....  August on my Corylus Avellana Contorta 'Red Majestic - Red Corkscrew Twisted Hazel.  It's in a pot and has fabulous dark red leaves in the Spring with catkins, its leaves turn green in the summer and it produces nuts.  In the Autumn the leaves turn red again and it drops them in the Winter to display wonderfully architectural bare and twisted branches, just right to hang a few little lights on in the festive season?!

R had to have that offending tooth out today.  All has gone well and I didn't have to fetch her from the Dentist to drive her home.  I had my recurring VitB12 jab at 4pm, ouch! the injection really, really hurts whilst it's going in, even when delivered by the best phlebotomist in the surgery but I should be full of beans again after receiving it - I do hope so as I've been feeling a little jaded of late.
