Barnlusgan peace and waterlilies
We decided to have a day out together and , as it was my choice, I decided to take us to Mid Argyll.
We stopped at the tea shop for a late morning coffee and cake at the tree shop and bought a lovely pot of lavender to put beside my parents grave at Achnabreac.
We thought we might have a late lunch , but I had forgotten the inflexibility of local cafés and lunch was long gone - and the cafe at Tayvallich stops taking customers at 3.30 on Saturdays?
So we had more takeaway coffee, J had a brownie and we had some Gigha icecream:)
We then walked round Barnlusgan, a place I love, and looked out for the Mid Argyll blippers- Snapper with her dog or SeasideSusie an old school pal who often takes photographs at Bellanoch or Mother Shipton - but none were to be seen.
It was a very lovely day - beautiful ,beautiful scenery ( some extras) some gentle time out with J and too much cake. We will take a picnic next time.
