2021 Saturday — Celebrating

This is what celebrating looks like with Mr. Fun! We’re enjoying pineapple & pepperoni pizza and for dessert, tiramisu, and that’s just lunch!

Nine years ago today — July 31, 2012 — we had our first walk-thru of a house we would own 90 days later. We honestly had no idea of the door we were opening, of the future we were entering -- we asked two professionals if it was feasible for us (our insurance man and our financial advisor), they both gave us a thumbs-up.

Similar to several other things we have done, we simply jumped out of the airplane and believed God would catch us, and He did. Amazing what God has done thru a couple of ignorant, inexperienced people (ignorant is different than stupid).

It has been nerve wracking and confidence building. A story that only God could create. We thank God for the friends who have encouraged us along the way.

Today--it just feels good, like a celebration.
