The Olden Days

Mr C showed Ella his old RAF uniform, now a museum exhibit.

In the evening we drove to Debenham. Clive, an old colleague of mine and friend, had invited us to eat. His friend Mary also was there along with Nigel and Mary, also two old friends. Sadly Mary is suffering from memory problems but they are coping and seem more relaxed about it than last year when Nigel was very stressed. We had a great evening with stimulating conversation and good laughs. Clive made a delicious fish dish, Nigel Slater inspired.

The holiday house is going well. They got a Chinese takeaway tonight.
