Twinies

We’d decided to barbecue tonight as the weather looked good. Linda made a delicious German potato salad with ham, egg and onions and a quick picked cucumber to accompany our choice of meats.

They headed off on their bikes for a run around and we headed off to Fortrose to find the Fairy Glen - the satnav took us on a bit of a convoluted route but we finally got to the car park in time to snag the last space. It was a lovely walk through the Glen to the two waterfalls but there was a bit of scrambling over rocks to get there.
Phin met another year old fox red Labrador who could have been his twin on the walk and they looked very cute together.

We headed back to the site via Inverness so I could pick up two steaks from my favourite butcher and spent a couple of hours reading in the sunshine.

Dinner was delicious and we rounded off the evening with a few hands? Of dominoes. I wasn’t very lucky.
