Canal Walk

Almost a repeat of the walk I took last Saturday but this week was the added incentive of the offical opening of the new nature reserve.  

They have spent £8.5 million on regenerating this area beside the canal including walkways, a new bridge, drainage, playgrounds  etc.  Very close to the City centre it also stretches to one of the city's Football Stadiums where they were just getting ready for kick off when I passed.  There is a spot where you can see some of the action without paying to go in.  (The local team, Partick Thistle, won 3 - 2).
