This is not an illusion!

Out for coffee today with three of my sewing friends, two of whom I’ve seen recently, but one was 18 months ago. We met up at Doddington Hall farm shop cafe and enjoyed their scones.

On the way out we did some food shopping and saw these mushrooms. I have never seen flat mushrooms this size, they were the size of a tea plate. 

It was good to get out and enjoy normal life. We had planned to sit outdoors, but thankfully didn’t, because it heaved with rain mid coffee and those outdoors got wet!!! 

This time last year, my surgery was finished and I was drugged upon to the eyeballs. Not a pleasant experience. 

Tomorrow is a new year ……onwards and upwards !!!
