Feather Control

Danny was out and about doing all sorts of good things this morning, whilst the kids and I tried to sort the flat a bit in advance of people staying in it whist we're away. We were quite productive.
Late afternoon we went to John and Dawn's for a dip in their pool. So so lovely to see them. Nate absolutely loved throwing feathers off their rooftop and watching them float to the ground. Home and the kids are fed and in bed, and 1.5 hours later Danny's still driving round looking for somewhere to park. You know it's too big a part of life when one of Nate's make believe games is 'find parking'. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny doing brilliant things today like delivering tents and mattresses to people, collecting boat tickets, teaching etc...
2) Lovely messages exchanged with Phil and Julie from yesterday.
3) Being in water on a particularly hot and humid day.
