Salad

As I’d clearly drunk too much wine last night, some healthy salad was the order of the day for lunch. This is now a staple of my lunchtime menus: a salad with some accompaniment. In this case the side dish was a spinach and red pepper quiche. I’ve found I really like these lunches and they’re probably quite good value (especially if there is an offer on the quiche or whatever the accompaniment is) but I am finding that I am spending the first 15 minutes of my lunch hour chopping salad. It’s not hard work by any means but it is surprising how much time I spend each week slicing salad.
