afternoon rush hour
clucking about during feeding rush hour. The "girls" are patient for about 10 seconds.
They hear us approach and it begins. Their sing-song urgency for attention tunes up. order is chaos. food distributed and satisfied they return to their roost.
Our care duty will conclude on the weekend, we'll turn them back over to the Reif's with gratitude of the experience and the dozens of eggs that fill our refrigerator.
