a walk with the wildflowers

I am luxuriating in a three night get away to Breckenridge with my dear friend. This morning we got up early to drive to Mayflower Gulch for a 5 mile hike to admire the carpet of wildflowers (bottom right). On the way we stopped at Clinton Reservoir (top left). The wildflowers are amazing, so abundant and so bright! It turns out that the Giant Red Indian paintbrush was the most photogenic today (top right, bottom left).
