Pat’s 80th

Pictured is my friend Maria and her mum, Pat. Pat’s 80th birthday was actually a week ago, but Covid restrictions meant that she couldn’t have all the people she wanted to celebrate with her in one go. Last week was a smaller affaire for closer family members and today the rest of us were able to attend.

I had been with Maria when she ordered these socks, with Pat’s last horse, Victor, on them. They came out SO good! We also sorted out bracelets containing hair from both of their last horses. Both are still alive and living with people that Maria and her mum are in touch with so getting the hair wasn’t too much of a problem. Both very thoughtful gifts, which Maria backed up with a lovely speech.
