2nd cut

A mad rush to get the 2nd cut of silaging done and some haymaking too this week before the rain returns. Where I work they don’t need a huge amount of silage for the cattle they have, but obviously we do need a lot of hay. With the weird weather we’ve had this year, the yields are down. The silage will last the winter, and we will have to cross our fingers that the hay will too, as it will be expensive to buy.
