Going west

Today we went off piste and walked just the 2 of us. We went into St Ives and around the harbour. Out to St Ives Head and the Church on the Island. A walk on a near deserted Porthmeor Beach, past Tate St Ives ( building in the background - we’re going on Saturday) and out onto the coastal path west towards Zennor. This lead us out to Clodgy Point where a seal popped up to see us as we sat and had elevenses. The scenery was spectacular as we headed out to Pen Enys point and onto Carn Naun, where we sat on the cliffs for lunch. We then went inland for a walk back across the fields to St Ives just as the warm weather gave way to rain.
