Blogger Martha Blipped....

This is Martha Payne and her Dad, David. Martha is , of course, the famous "Never Seconds" food blogger , whom I have mentioned here before. She is also one of my Argyll constituents.

They were at Edinburgh Castle tonight for the dinner in honour of the President of Malawi and in commemoration of the David Livingstone bi-centenary. Earlier in the day Martha had made a presentation at an event hosted by the Scotland / Malawi Partnership during which she talked about her amazing fund raising for Mary's Meals, the feeding charity that works in Malawi whose work I saw at first hand last year.

Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow who runs Mary's Meals - and who is also my constituent as their HQ is in Dalmally - was at the dinner too.

Martha judged the food at the Castle to be fine, by the way. I thought it needed to be in the picture so this is the first course of Hot Smoked Shetland Salmon with herb potato and samphire. Buccleuch Beef followed.
