The Bear & the Bee

I suppose my statue theme of the last few days has gone from sublime (toga bedecked civic leaders) to the ridiculous - the latter being this chain saw carved bear at a bee hive which Cathleen was given when she left Sandbank Primary.

it is by Andy MacLachlan of Chainsawcraft who lives and works at he Old School at Rashfield (strangely enough another place where Cathleen was Head Teacher ).

The plastic bee was a little additional reference to her hobby of bee keeping.
