Cartwheels

The weather has continued to be gorgeous, and M and I have continued to make the most of it!

Today we drove over to the National Trust nature reserve at Formby www.nationaltrust.org.uk/formby where we walked along the beach and through the sand dunes, had a lovely lunch and escaped from the sun for a while in the woodland, where we failed to see any of the red squirrels in one of the few habitats in which they remain in the UK. Never mind, it didn’t spoil the day at all. I did panic when I thought we might’ve been locked in the car park for staying too late - but it was a false alarm and all was well!
